Operation Smile Dental Mission in Hue, Vietnam
In the 2011 mission, Le Hoang Foundation focused on Vietnam, the country that ignited the birth of this non profit organization and the homeland of its founders, Dr. Dane Hoang and her sister, Thanh.
As an avid supporter of Operation Smile, Le Hoang Foundation had the privilege of participating in the March 2011 dental mission in Vinh Phuc and Hue, Vietnam. In a course of a week, a total of 3013 patients were screened of which 2340 received oral hygiene instructions and education, treatment was rendered to 1299 patients, and 3339 dental procedures were performed. This was an incredible experience and Le Hoang Foundation was honored to be a part of this mission.
